I like your timing for an Ike interview, Doc. Non-believers shall be humbled and tremble on their knees, henceforth and posthaste becoming new subscribers. I was worried about an early termination of the 10-13 week cycle, but, nooooo, I shall worry no longer! For I have seen the power and the glory of those fangled voodoo cmaps! biggrin.gif

I also think da Boyz went heavy on puts for this Options expiration as opposed to calls the previous two expirations. It also wouldn't surprise me if they wrote calls at the same time. Bully is in for a surprise! shocked.gif

Doc,

Just got done listening to your interview with Ike, it was excellent as usual. Par for the course for our Chief Stoolie. I got a lot out of your comments on the ROC indicators too. I wasn't too clear on this in the past.

You're a helluva of a technician Doc, can't wait to get Hursts book I ordered last week.

Coin, could you please post a link to Doc's interview? Thanks.

DrStool
The interview is here. . The link is now posted on http://marketviews.tv

I am also available to answer questions and comments here now, and will be here at least until 10 AM ET.

I want to thank Ike, a gentleman, scholar, and one of the world's great technical analysts and money managers. Please pay him a visit at Aegean Capital.
bontchev
Thanks, Doc, I'm listening to it right now. I can't access marketviews.tv for some reason - but the link to aegeancapital.com works.

Vesselin

Tip top, Doc.

Somebody should tell Ike that he has forgotten to put the last chart on his site. At the end of the interview, Doc talks about the mortgage bubble - but the respective chart he's referring to (of the Mogauge Bonkers Ass; we've seen it in the Anals) is missing from the aegeancapital.com site.

Regards,
Vesselin

Very nice interview doc! cool.gif

btw, the RSI of S&P500 did fall below its rising uptrendline beginning in july, thats another sign of weakness.

Ahhh...Sunday morning coffee with the Stool. What could be better.

Another great interview. When's the IPO? Do current stoolies get preferential access to shares? laugh.gif
The End
Great work Doc!

As if. wink2.gif

Here is another guy, Jim Curry, Who follows cycles.

He also agrees with Doc. Yea grin.gif
DrStool
Ike is in California where it's 6:50 AM Sunday morning. I don't think he knows about the missing chart.

Here it is.

Just an observation,

A good family friend of ours owns the largest Land & Title business in our area. Over cocktails and dinner at the new P.F. Changs on Wednesday, I asked how business has been. She told me the RE-FI's have been tremendous all year, and hadn't noticed much of a slowdown in recent months. Of course, my follow-up was, how about after the rate cut? She reiterated, business was steady, plenty of people taking equity out too. I asked her about business real estate, she said take a drive down town and take a good look.

Well, this is what this Stoolie did yesterday. The whole downtown area is littered with "For Sale or Lease" signs. I couldn't believe how bad it was. Two Large buildings were boarded up and for sale as well.

I'm believing the business real estate bubble has bursted for some time now, and housing is going to follow shortly. I guess my question, which I put out to my fellow stoolies is, if we successfully inflate, how will farm properties fair with a rise in Commodities? I do own some farming properties, they have been depressed about as long as gold.

This is another reason why I like Doc and his charts, the MoGuage is a winner. Not to mention the Feedometer.

I paid for my analz, wouldn't sit on my throne without them tongue.gif ,

The CoinGuy
DrStool
unsure.gif umm.... when you print it out, is there enough paper? huh.gif
The CoinGuy
You have a point there Doc...IT puts my printer to work, but I have an HP 1100 LaserJet, that spits em out pretty fast.

I'm heading off to the Monthly collectors(numismatic) show, will report on how busy the bourse floor was, it has been picking up steam in recent months, after the week we've had, I would imagine it could be real busy. I'm getting there early.

The CoinGuy

Hmmmm....Talking anals? Whatdaya think Doc, an occasional talkie?
Your verbal presentation is outstanding.
DrStool
Tanks, Hood. You mean like the Pubic Service announcement at the top of the page.

CG- ah.... yeah, that too, but for the throne? blink.gif blink.gif

doc,
i have the feeling 2003 will be a very very profitable year for me and that is because of the assistance of your wonderfull cycle work cool.gif

For others, who dont look at the cycles, 2003 will be like armageddon! happy.gif laugh.gif

i love you all wub.gif laugh.gif

Doc I think a talkie of the {3-4 minute} weak in review {in the poo}....or.... a look ahead {in the head} huh.gif ....in the weakend anals, might really help the newbies...Thus the Stool gets tracked into more homes as they spread the stool. Looking at the charts as you spoke made them come alive. I know...Im a pain in the ass wink2.gif
DrStool
Thanks everyone. I'm going to sign off ofr a few hours and go watch my beloved Iggles. (Sorry 'Skins fans.)

Are you ready for some football?

I'll be back on-line tonight. Please continue to post your questions and comments!

DrStool
By the way stoolies, if you participate in other message boards, Doc would be most grateful if you spread the word about the interview.

Once again, dungs a lot!

Great interview as usual, Doc. I've been trying to find your first interview on Ike's site( I assume your first, It was 2 interviews ago), but it's gone. I wish that were available again. It inspired me to join the Anals.
DrStool
Ike has a page called Best of the Best.

Guess whose maiden interview is listed Numero Uno? Unfortunately, the damn link is dead. laugh.gif laugh.gif Gotta tell Ike.
The End
Doc,

Your interview is now posted on prudentbear.com and tradertalk.com.

Did you happen to listen to Curry?
DrStool
Hell- I didn't even listen to me! laugh.gif The only interview I ever heard Ike do was the first one he did with Doc. After that, I was so embarrassed, I vowed never to listen to myself again. blink.gif

I never listen to other really fine analysts like Curry, who is also a Hurst guy and probably the best out there, next to you know who, of course. Don't want to influence the purity of the Stool.

Actually the only guy I follow religiously is Noland. He's obviously not a TA guy. I read Fleck every week over on MSN, but not on Jimmy Jammer Crammer's RealMonkey. I like to read Chapman too, but usually don't have time. Also, it hurts my eyes.

Doc, fantastic interview whose link will go to everyone I know on the net.

I gotta tell you, having been a stoolie since summer of 2001, I still get a surge of pride every time I log on through my password, for recognizing how spot on you are through this whole thing. I've subscribed to other sites off and on in that time, and no one is your equal. I hate that you're getting famous because I don't want to see the site change.......but am proud to be a stoolie. a tousand tanks!
DrStool
Back at ya Taki!

But considering that only 3500 to 4500 people come here each day, we can't really call Doc famous. Well known among a circle of friends perhaps, but certainly not famous. Fortunately most people just don't get it. rolleyes.gif

Hood- I like the idea of audio, but the files are huge and there may be bandwidth problems. Any of you tech geniuses have suggestions for file format and sound editing packages?
The CoinGuy
Doc,

I'll tell ya if this gig doesn't work out, theres always stand-up. Move over Seinfeld, you'd knock em dead.

tongue.gif tongue.gif tongue.gif tongue.gif

The CoinGuy

P.S. Bourse floor was packed, the material the guys were offering looked rather picked over. Talked to a few friends in business, good material is scarce, and the more common stuff is getting lapped up. What I personally saw was IMO a bunch of common junk. Haven't been able to find any rare gold in quite some time. A piece here and there is all. After this major lull in the market, the smart guys picked up the nice pieces at good discounts and will continue to hold them with an iron fist. That is assured.
Whadda I Do Whadda I Do
I'd like to thank Doc for the free flow of general information he espouses to. While some would covet and suppress such commentaries, the everyday droppings can find access (here) to understanding their delimma. Awareness is half the battle: Where the money changers can't dupe all the people all the time.
Sigmoid Friend
Doc,

Your interviews with Ike get better and better each time. Today's was the best so far, majesterial in terms of logic, clarity, confidence, and supporting charts. As a subscriber, I look at your charts everyday, but I always seem to understand them much better with your accompanying oral commentary in the interviews. It also helps that Ike is a great interviewer.

Cool edit pro 2.0. More powerful than anything I would ever need, but just a few dolllars more than the non-pro and has 128 channels of audio tracks to load. free trial of either non-pro or pro.

The single file interface to edit, reduce to mono, and reduce 'sampling' rate to make the small .mp3 and .wav files from the originals is easy to use.

For audio, you can make the files extremely low sample rates.and mono

as an example. an hour long cbs mystery theater run time 50 minutes is only 8-10 megs. in mp3 format.

Maybe future interviews at Ike's place should be called the "Orals of Stock Proctology" laugh.gif laugh.gif

Try this for the first interview. (Ike has "audiodiles" in the url instead of "audiofiles")

As Howard Cosell might say, Thanks Doc for telling it like it is!! Great interview!!

I click on the link for your latest Doc, get the chart page for 12/13, yet the audio is 9/28 interview. Is this a problem at Ike's or? I haven't heard your latest yet.
