When posting charts wider than 500 pixels, please attach the chart to your post. If it is not already in your hard drive, it will be necessary to first save it on your local drive. Then you can easily attach it to your post. The chart will show up as an in-line thumbnail, which when clicked will open the full sized chart in a separate window.

As a faster alternative, you can place a link to the url of the graphic on another site. Be sure to include attribution, if the image is not yours.

Please do not hotlink to images wider than 500 pixels. Under the terms of advertiser agency contracts the right sidebar of the page must be visible in the screen without scrolling.

Directly uploading the chart with your post, or placing a link to the page it is located on solves the problem of how to handle charts that are too wide to put in-line with your post.

Many tanks!

Any way to lift the sizing of the thumbnail attachments a little?

I often have charts in the 70kb range, and they are too large to thumbnail, which is quite frankly my preferred method of attaching charts now that I have discovered it.

I did not realize it was an advertising issue, and will redouble my efforts to slim down (well, at least in terms of charting, tongue.gif ).

Any tie ins that might cause us to limit BARE's vocabulary to the English language?

There is no doubt that I am a chronic 'wide charter' attempting to reform.

I will increase the max kb to 75. Please note that every 6 months or so, I will remove dated charts from the server. Be sure to save a copy on your hard drive!

As I am a bit unclear as to how pixel size coresponds to file size I will attempt to attach a chart here to see how it works. The file is only 26kb but i have no idea what the pixel size is. If it is too large feel free to delete it as this is only a test. File is from eSignal and is saved as a PNG file.
