Icke is kind of a nut, isn't he? There are so many people who actually believe in shape shifting aliens though, you have to wonder where it all comes from. It seems that some people aren't content to leave it at the level of a conclusion. The conclusion being that some people are snake-like, as in cold and predatory. It has to take on actual physical dimension and a weird Old Testament type of framing, for them, or they're not interested. It's a case of religion competing with Hollywood, I guess.

But I think that there are groups who try to drive reality through esoteric practice. Whether they succeed or not, and who and where they are. Good question. This is just an intuitive thing with me. Maybe I'm crazy.

HOW TO AVOID ALIEN ABDUCTION

1: Reside in or near a city: Aliens are partial to remote, isolated regions, so much so that if given the choice between abducting someone a second or third time from a farm or nabbing someone new who lives in a metropolitan area, they will pick the former.

2: Have an uninteresting ass: This is an admittedly nebulous directive, since nobody is really sure what the aliens are looking for. (Some have suggested that they lost their keys in someone years ago and are still trying to find them.) However, an anal probe should figure prominently in their examination. You might even consider getting a small tattoo on your lower back that reads "nothing to see here." Others have taped themselves shut each night with duct tape. Alceringa, Thanks for the public service announcement. So much of the alien abduction stuff seems based on the meandering mutterings of the fantasy prone. But imagine if some of it IS true. Wouldn't that be an appalling experience?

Every trekkies dream come true--a chance to get a glimpse of the dilethium crystals, learn the secrets of anti gravity propulsion, meet brilliant off planet creatures face to face, and THEN...get the anal probe! Remember the Sesame Street song?

The reason I think some of the alien abduction stuff may be true, is, the clearly fantasy prone personality creates fairy tales that are narcissistic, self aggrandizing and pleasant, fantasies that avoid mundane aspects of themselves, and particularly anything repugnant.

Delusions that are the products of ego disintegration, typified by injury to self and paranoid visions of someone out to get your ass, (literally) are generally confined to the psychotic.

Many of the people who claim to have had these experiences have been psychologically assessed and are clearly not psychotic. They could be lying, but hell, who wants that kind of attention?

It's very curious, butt not impossible.
