This guy has written books about what he calls "ussr-2." They're very popular and propose a clandestine society operating parallel to the facade of the official state. He thinks oligarchs running the show and then sheltering their money abroad are pretty intolerable, not that he's against oligarchy. It's like Russia doesn't have it's own skull and bones or masonic societies and this guy is arguing that they NEED to be created for the sake of the nation. Kind of funny. It's basically a very national fascist screed and I wouldn't be surprised Putin is reading it.
The fascists won. Make no mistake about it--Here and abroad.
From Asia Times:
The next step, Kalashnikov argues, is an "ethnopsychological" miracle. He writes that the new state cannot be created with the current mentality of the Russian people, who he says are "ignorant not only of national ideals, but even of their own self-interests ... Therefore, it is necessary to create a new nation from the remnants of the Russian people, a new race that possesses the novel psychological quality of seeing itself as 'a nation of super-creators and geniuses'," Kalashnikov writes, echoing classic Nazi-style rhetoric.
