John Stewart on Cross Fire - Stop hurt hurt hurting America (click link)If you havn't listened to this; I think you'll enjoy it; JS has guts and he puts the Cross Fire guys in such a defensive position it's stunning. I've never seen or heard anything like it in the mainstream before.
Note that they give you several choices of links depending on the power of your machine. The 500K is for subscribers only, so the slower links don't sinc the lips correctly...but no big deal, it's the conversation (or assault) that is worth listening to.

It looks like you can't listen to it anymored; only the script is there ( unless I'm missing something). Bummer, it was really excellent to listen to.

it's still on this page:
"Stop, stop, stop, stop hurting America." - the videoor if you want clearer video, but with ads, you can watch here:
iFilm versionStewart got in some good shots, but also made some serious points that were largely ignored (probably intentionally because they were too true).

Jon Stewart on 60 minutes tomorrow night! I'll definitely be there. Crossfire was priceless. It'll go down in history as one of the most politically astute moments in media history. Bravo Jon!!!

Reminded me of the 1984 Apple MacIntosh ad -- run only once -- showing a young woman running into a dark hall filled with hypnotized drones, and slinging a sledge hammer to smash the giant screen image of Big Brother.
Our 17-year-old son said it's all over his high school -- a substantial Blow Against the Empire.
Now we just need a renegade interlocutor to 'do' Greenspan, exposing what an utter fraud he and his Funeral Reserve counterfeiting franchise really are ...
