The Major weekly Trendline is now being attacked and this is what has me concerned . Below is the chart of the XAU , Upper left is Hourly , Upper Right Daiuly and bottom is the weekly . Notice the Green trendline .

I will try to add the chart on the next post , for some reason it won't post right nowl Must be a bug on the site

Nice article from Volcker. This looks like a serious correction coming in the broads. 1170 goes down.

dharma
starting to accumulate very lightly. these will not be trading positions, but long term buy and hold. i dont think the dolar has much to go on the upside. well, if you 've been kicking yourself for missing the gold rise these last few years, this is an opportunity to buy. dharma
Charmin
from brighter minds

today was interesting
metals new lows
then euro followed
then metals reacted back up
euro then reacted up
metals seems to be leading esp silver now imho
traderfromhell
Have open gap in the 85+ XAU and an ABC I have been looking at was hit at 185 in the HUI. Need to see a spring off the lows. Lots of scared bulls around. Tough call here.

My feeling is that the US Dollar is in an up trend to 87-90 and that there is a current push to squeeze the short out of the US Dollar positions. My focal point is still Mid May to early June for this swing in the Up dollar trade. And inverse reaction in Gold and Euro.

I think we hold the stock indices here

on jan lows -
Charmin
guess what - a COP or contracted objective for XAU is 87.38

I think we may hold here - feb lows
Charmin
next target would be the 83 area on XAU

may need to spring some support to find demand
Charmin
WTZ makes it back to the Jan low
Charmin
no demand - bearish in stocks
Charmin
no short covering at support means they are content to be short
Vitalsigns
That was an Ugly day and to make it worse the weekly charts are not going to be looking good by close tomorrow which can only mean one thing , we still have further to fall .
