Think about what happens when a pandemic bird flu outbreak happens here in the US. Nobody goes to school, nobody delivers the gas, nobody wants to leave the home. It would be the end of the United States as we know it. Martial law. its not too far fetched, as there is no vaccine, unless you have the money. Better start saving canned foods and water. Maybe gas would be a good barter item. JMVHO,

No doubt the ramifications of all of this would be horrendous. I will probably be out of North America when/if it hits, and away from people in general. Supplies and planning are very good ideas.

But China is setting up contingency plans as we speak-which is a good thing...hope they can contain it, but what about Vietnam or Laos? Etc.
