Just wondering here if what the bears might need is a buying panic that sends to DJIA to a shooting star/inverse hammer happy print of 12,000 to be followed by a round trip back to the July/August breakout around 11K or so.
I got this from TT.
Dmm, touched on this subject.

Harrahs amateur plays their Hand early...
http://news.moneycentral.msn.com/provider/...1004&ID=6074353But last week, there was already "unconfirmed chatter across options trading desks regarding a leverage buyout on Harrah's," said Paul Foster So basically a scapegoat can take the fall and the whole gang and that the chatter box hits a homerun. Most can now just see they saw odd activity so jumped on it.
Anyone watching the drillers?

Running a tad late with the arvo report.... All Ords rolled over and died finishing the day -0.8%. On the 5-day chart, that break thru resistance is now looking like a blowoff. Energy and Materials continued to get hammered, -2.8% and -3.1% respectively. Property Trusts ended up the most, a relatively feeble +0.4%.
Asia turned bearish: Sth Korea -1.6%, India -1.3%, Nikkers -1%.
UK/Europe up so far but will it last?

Should be interesting to see how VLO does today.

Lee when are you going to put the cute blue and yellow boxes in the 10-13 week chart? I am starting to loose all perspective.
The 13 week and 6 month cycles have been acting together as a merged cycle averaging 18 weeks for the past year or so. Once that started the target boxes were out of synch, and of no help. I could note the 18 week target areas, but here again, the current cycle has already overshot by three weeks. I find it more helpful to focus on the cycle indicators themselves and evaluate their position every day, rather than get locked in on particular time frames. Just stay with the trend until the indicators tell us not to.

Just as with the Rydex bull and bear ratios. Much of the cash is now playing the QID and QLD and the spx double long and double short, whose symbols escape me at the moment.
