Exact:
Moon conjunct Neptune at 11:05 am. Weakness on confusion for up to 1/2 day. Looks like it hit oil this time around.
Mercury conjunct Jupiter at 10 pm. Often too much of a good thing. All positives price in. This is a repeat due to Mercury going retrograde on October 28. Keep in mind that Jupiter is sqared to Saturn, as is Mercury. We hit new highs on this aspect a few days ago, but Mars was also in the pciture. Today there is no Mars and it looks like a lower high.
Moon oppose Saturn at 10:50 pm. Usually a negative for part of the day, but likely cancelled out by Moon square Jupiter shortly past midnight Tuesday.
In orb:
Mercury square Saturn. Worry. Often occurs near a low, but in this situation it is combined with aspects that occur near highs, so price will probably float into the election.
Venus conjunct Sun. Usually a positive Focus on values. Watch currencies and metals in particular.
Jupiter square Saturn. Expansion versus contraction = gridlock. This is the third in a series of three. Often there is an explosive rally within 3 weeks past this aspect being exact, but the set-up looks to be the reverse this time. On the other hand, if this was a downtrend, I'd hate to see the uptrend. :rofl:

As expected, the Venus-Uranus energy was positive for gold. Whether it is a ST top or the kick-off of a new up-leg remains to be seen. I think it is the later.
Ray Merriman's 2006 forecast Book mentions that Gold and silver are expected to form a low during October with Venus in Libra (Sept 30 - Oct 24) and should rebound and form a high in November with both Venus and Mars in Scorpio (starting the 23rd and 24th of October respectively). Mars stays in Scorpio through early December.

My thinking is with the Dems in control of the house and a draw in the Senate, the techs will do well. The finacial stocks seem to holding up quite well this morning. Resource stocks (with US holdings) may see a setback since the dems are in Seierra Club's pockets and are hostile to any intelligent use of natural resources. We have a large portion of the population living in cities and suburbs who are totally disconnected from the source of production for food, energy and the materials needed for day to day living. These people ar mostly Democrats.
