A small bounce off support today but not sure it's going anywhere...could be a dead cat. All Ords +0.5% with only Materials down slightly, -0.1%. Property Trusts is leading the green end, +1.7% followed by IT, +1.5% and Energy +1.4%.
The mining sector being dragged down by BHP -0.7% and RIO -0.2% but the golds are on the rise with the exception of Newmont, -0.9%.
Oils are bouncing back: Woodside +2.3% and Santos +1.8%.
Asia upwardly mobile at this stage......

DELL reports after the bell. Same with BRCD.
Should be interesting to see if the BRCD channel break is for real or just a fakeout like the similar inverse setup at the bottom of the channel.

Well, yes so we got our little bit of green. All Ords finished +0.7% with not much change in the sectors. Materials continued as the only red, -0.2% and at the top end, Property Trusts remained leader, +2.4% followed by IT +2.1%.
Not much additional action to report on the miners: BHP -1.4%, RIO -0.6% and in the golds, Lihir and Newcrest +0.7% with Newmont flat.
Oils continued to move up: Woodside +2.2% and Santos +2.5%.
Asia mixed, ranging from India +0.7% to Nikkers, -0.1%.

Low risk. Sell if it breaks here. I like to see a stock break the downtrend line then trend over it even though it pushes it down some more. When it gets to the up trend line area you have the entry point which was yesterday/ late last week.
Also, if it breaks here it could mean a pullback on an IT basis. Stats are favored up though by a decent amount. imo.

Think the Orbs might back and fill here for the next couple of weeks.
BHP and Rio Tinto are what move the Orbs most, and metal prices are what move them most.
So, if copper struggles along, so will the AllOrbs.
BTW, zinc is still flying out of the warehouse at the LME.
Nickel and copper inventory have actually been rising there the last couple of weeks.

19.30 but only because ameritrade wouldn't let me buy it before 7am central although 4000 shares had been traded. I had a bid at 19.11 with the ask at 19.10....could swear I have bought/sold it before 7am central before....
Sold half already at 20. Took some cash out of the market to pay some bills yesterday and just covered it so not getting too greedy.
I have JNPR jan calls which are finally going to kick some ass today after paying the time value off..nice breakout but taking profits on half of that position today, keeping other half for free and letting them ride.
Taking profits on half positions on a breakout is usually a good play for me. The chance at compounding is always hard to pass up. Stats have it play out more in my favor this way in the long term and multiple stocks.

Boston, November 21: Speaking at the New York Stock Exchange on "Financial Markets and the Federal Reserve," Fed Governor Kevin M. Warsh (voter) noted concern about the inflation outlook. Warsh said that inflation "remains uncomfortably elevated" and said that there are "clear upside risks" to the inflation outlook.
With regards to the economy, Warsh indicated that he sees the economy moving
closer to its long-run potential (thought to be in the 2.5 to 3.0% range). He
said that the drop in the housing sector will restrain growth into next year.
