Look at the November Aspects thread for the aspects over the first weekend of December. We go from a likely positive month-end environment with a Pluto (Sagittarius), Saturn (Leo), Moon (Aries) Grand Trine on Friday December 1 to a high probability for negative news on Sunday December 3 with a Mercury (Scorpio), Moon (Taurus), Saturn (Leo) T-square. Mercury square Saturn (worry) is in orb. Moon oppose Jupiter 2 am Monday, may alleviate some of the negativity.

Until proven otherwise, my view is all pullbacks should be bought. There is highly speculative energy going into at least first quarter 2007 and probably for the entire year. The positive energy could last well into 2008. After that all hell breaks loose, but bears need to be patient.

The Big Aspects between Slow Moving Outer Planets

Jupiter square Uranus (1/3) on January 22, 2007.Highly speculative. One of the three exact aspects will likely mark the top of the retrace from the summer 2002 - winter 2003 lows.

Saturn oppose Neptune (2/3) on February 28, 2007.

Jupiter trine Saturn (1/5) on March 16, 2007. A trine is a soft aspect and this is more harmonious. Usually positive business conditions with inflation contained.

Jupiter trine Saturn (2/5) on May 6, 2007.

Jupiter square Uranus (2/3) on May 10, 2007.

Saturn oppose Neptune (3/3) on June 25, 2007.

Jupiter square Uranus (3/3) on October 9, 2007. The top of the retrace????

Jupiter Sextile Neptune (1/1) on October 29, 2007 Idealism. Expectation of gains. Positive.

Jupiter Conjunct Pluto (1/1) on December 12, 2007 Political power. The big players getting what they want. Has coincided with significant lows.

Jupiter crosses Galactic Center December 2007

Jupiter trine Saturn (3/5)on January 21, 2008

Jupiter sextile Uranus (1/3) on March 28, 2008 Innovation. Speculative, but within reason.

Jupiter sextile Uranus (2/3) on May 21, 2008

Jupiter trine Saturn (4/5) on September 8, 2008

Saturn oppose Uranus 2008 - 2011. Saturn, Uranus, Pluto T-squares according to Merriman. This is potentially a major bear phase.

Saturn oppose Uranus (1/5) November 4, 2008 Also Saturn, Uranus, Venus T-square! Resistance to change. Old versus new. Expect dislocation followed by reform.

Jupiter sextile Uranus (3/3) on November 12 28, 2008 Innovation. Speculative, but within reason.

Jupiter trine Saturn (6/5) on November 21, 2008

Saturn oppose Uranus (2/5) February 5, 2009

Jupiter conjunct Neptune (1/3) on May 27, 2009 Idealism. Speculation on blind faith. Inflation and excess debt.

Saturn oppose Uranus (3/5) September 15, 2009

Saturn square Pluto (1/3) November 15, 2009 Fall of great powers. Repression both politcal and economic. A good window for a significant low.

Jupiter conjunct Neptune (3/3) on December 21, 2009

Saturn square Pluto (2/3) January 31, 2010

Saturn oppose Uranus (4/5) April 26, 2010

Saturn oppose Uranus (5/5) July 26, 2010

Saturn square Pluto (2/3) August 21, 2010

Uranus square Pluto (1/7) June 24, 2012 Very long term in effect. Not tradeable.

Uranus square Pluto (2/7) September 19, 2012 also Mercury, Uranus, Pluto T-square!

Saturn trine Neptune October 2012 - July 2013 Change through persistent effort. Dreams become reality. Sober, but supportive of economic growth.

Saturn sextile Pluto December 2012 - November 2013 Political repression.

Uranus square Pluto (3/7) May 20, 2013

Uranus square Pluto (4/7) November, 2013

Uranus square Pluto (5/7) April 1, 2014

Uranus square Pluto (6/7) December 15, 2014

Uranus square Pluto (7/7) March 17, 2015

For 2007, we need to focus on 3 passes of Jupiter square Uranus which is exact on January 22, May 10 and October 9. One of these passes may mark the top of the retrace from the 2002-3003 lows. Jupiter is expansive and Uranus is change. The combination is usually highly speculative. We saw this with Jupiter trine Uranus in November 2005, May 2006 and August 2006. Also with Jupiter oppose Uranus in August 2004. It is possible that this aspect plays out outside of the markets as r(rapid)evolutionary change, but I am assuming it will play out in the markets until proven otherwise.

Also passes 2 and 3 of Saturn square Neptune on February 28 and June 25. It represents crushed dreams and will likely impact the housing market more than the equity market. So far it seems to have manifesting as "look we have no inflation".

It may also be playing out as worry and fear that may actually be feeding this extended rally. It is not the general population that is experiencing this. Rather it is a small subset of end-timers, environmentalists (global warming) and conspiracy theorists of different stripes. This kind of energy would have been expected closer to the year 2000 but was preempted by the Y2K mania.

The purpose here is not pass judgment on the beliefs of these groups, but rather to point out that the worry and fear may be fueling the markets in the same way that major disasters in the third world (earthquakes, tsunamis) fuel equities rallies by absorbing astro stress. As long as the focus of this worry and/or fear does not manifest as reality to the general public, the markets will continue to rise.

Another aspect of importance is Jupiter conjunct Pluto in December. Jupiter will cross the Galactic center in December (and Pluto will be there much of the year). This aspect has occurred at significant lows, but this time it could be a major top.

Keep in mind that the astro may well support prices into fall 2008 when Saturn oppose Uranus comes into play.

QUOTE(Ray Merriman)
...we also note that transiting Mars is now entering into a T-square to the natal Mercury-Pluto square of the New York Stock Exchange this week. All of this points to an unstable market climate that is prone to very sharp price reversals. Such instability has proven to be a boon to both currencies and precious metals as forecast.

Monday December 4

Exact:

Moon oppose Jupiter at 1:50 am. Positive and toppy.

Mercury square Saturn at 3:10 pm. Worry. Usually a strong enough negative to forge a low, but a wall of worry setup is also possible.

Moon square Uranus at 4:20 pm. Moon-Uranus is volatility within a range, but the square can have a bearish effect. In this case it trigger Sun square Uranus.

Moon oppose Sun at 7:25 pm. Full Moon. Usually price increases going into a Full Moon followed by a let down after it is exact.

In orb:

Sun square Uranus. Change. Can be positive or negative, but often in a way that catches traders off guard. Watch techs in particular.

Saturn trine Pluto. Political repression. In the markets it has been manifesting as a controlled, but tenacious, push upwards in price. I believe this has been one of the dominant aspects of late.

Tuesday December 5

Mars enters Sagittarius at 12 am.

Saturn retrograde starts at 11:10 pm.

Exact:

Moon oppose Venus at 1:10 pm. Bearishness for 1/2 day.

Wednesday December 6

In orb:

Venus trine Saturn. Self control. Dip buying is likely.

Venus conjunct Pluto. Jealousy. The desire to own what others own, either by paying up or engineering a shake-out. If price is overextended this can be a destructive aspect, but at the time I am writing this, it looks more likely to be reversal off of a swing low.

Saturn trine Pluto.

Thursday December 7

Exact:

Venus trine Saturn at 2:20 pm. Self control. Dip buying is likely.

Venus conjunct Pluto at 10:50 pm. Jealousy. The desire to own what others own, either by paying up or engineering a shake-out. If price is overextended this can be a destructive aspect, but at the time I am writing this, it looks more likely to be a low.

In orb:

Mercury conjunct Mars. Often action without forethought. Impulsive trading in neither or both directions, often to the point of panic. This can play out geopolitically as verbal threats.

Venus trine Saturn.

Mars conjunct Jupiter. Usually a positive for equities. Impulsiveness coupled with expansiveness. Usually an IT trend change within a few days of being exact. Maybe this launches another leg on the current rally.

Saturn trine Pluto.

Mercury and Mars conjunct to Jupiter for a few days.

QUOTE(Richard Nolle www.astropro.com)
The triple conjunction of Mercury, Mars and Jupiter promises that December will be a dramatic, even explosive month - especially the first fortnight. This bespeaks arguments, conflict and confrontation; a tense time from the individual to the collective levels of human experience. High-stakes gamblers and other adventurers and thrill-seekers (including athletes) push their luck too far at times like this - perhaps to the point of ruin. Accidents, fires, crashes, explosions, assaults and the like always make headlines in this "if it bleeds, it leads" media culture. There will be plenty of material for such headlines this month, particularly around the 5th and 20th. Not to be too alarmed: no Armageddon, no nuclear meltdown, just garden variety mayhem and murder, only thicker and faster than usual. Bite your tongue, watch your back, don't go borrowing trouble. (There's an awkward image.)

QUOTE
Wary of Monday

Our friends the time monks at www.halfpasthuman.com told their subscribers that they are sort of expecting a big news event tomorrow which will impact markets Monday and Tuesday of this coming week, and to put it politely, we almost see the outline of a "perfect financial storm" shaping up for early in the week.

No sh*t. All you need is to follow astrology to know that.

QUOTE
Sunday December 3

Mercury (Scorpio), Moon (Taurus), Saturn (Leo) T-square. Based on this T-square and the aspects for the day, we can expect major news that will have a negative impact.

Exact:

Sun square Uranus at 12 am. Change. Can be positive or negative, but often in a way that catches traders off guard. Watch techs in particular.

Moon square Neptune at 1:10 am. Weakness on confusion. Watch energies and pharma.

Moon oppose Mercury at 11:10 am News and announcements.

Moon square Saturn at  1:50 pm. A strong negative for 1/2 day.

Moon oppose Mars at 7:30 pm. Impulsive moves in either or both directions, often to the point of brief trading panic. Lasts 1/2 day. Looks like a volatile open to the futures markets Sunday evening.

In orb:

Mercury square Saturn. Worry. Usually a strong enough negative to forge a low, but a wall of worry setup is also possible.

Saturn trine Pluto.

Keep in mind that Typhoon Durian in the Philipines may have absorbed the negative astro stress.

If the cyber attack on financial sector warnings have any substance, maybe that will be the event/news.

The news was probably the Rumsfeld memo as the timing astro-wise would be expected to be earlier in the day.

Late in the day we have the Hugo Chavez election victory in Venezuela. Remember he has allies in Smartmatic, an elections software company with a government contract to run the Venezuela elections (they did the recall vote). They also own Sequoia systems now.

Typhoon Durian has evidently absorbed the astro stress. So far Mercury-Saturn looks to be playing out as wall of worry (or what? me worry?) rather than the kind of worry that depresses price.

Yesterday's news event looks to have been little more than some leaked Rumsfeld memos. Bad for Bush, but not negative enough to impact the markets.

It looks like Mercury square Uranus on Friday played out in the metals.

Ignoring Pluto this week would be, IMO, Goofy.

Monday December 18

Exact:

Sun conjunct Pluto at 9:40 am and both conjunct the Galactic Center at 26 Sagittarius. We may see another big smack-down on gold unless it was already front-run Friday to show the Chinese that the US can still control markets. This may be enough of a down-spike for a safe ST buying opportunity. (Wish I had looked at this last week rather than over this weekend!) Wednesday is another possibility. Longer term, we need to see how Pluto conjunct the Galactic Center plays out in the precious metals. Gold in particular has a sensitivity to aspects to the Galactic Center. The cycle work in Ray Merriman's 2007 Forecast book may prove to be valuable here. It is too early to tell whether or not Gold will go higher in 2007. Mahendra Sharma has been predicting a dollar rally and that Gold must "shake hands with the dollar" if it is to continue it's ascent.

The Galactic Center (26 Sagittarius)

The theme for Sun conjunct Pluto is power and domination. Watch for manipulation and especially for head-fakes. Particularly near the open. Also watch for reversals off of highs or lows.

Moon conjunct Jupiter at 2:24 pm. Positive and toppy.

Moon conjunct Mars at 9:25 pm. Impulsive moves in either or both directions, often to the point of brief trading panic. Watch support and resistance levels.

In orb:

Sun trine Saturn. Karma. Caution and nerve. Can manifest as a setback in an uptrend or a wall of worry aspect.

Venus sextile Uranus. Arousal. Strange urges like buying more GOOG. can accellerate a rally or cause a minor reversal. Watch currency and metals.

Saturn trine Pluto. Political repression. In the markets it has been manifesting as a controlled, but tenacious, push upwards in price. I believe this has been one of the dominant aspects of late.

Tuesday December 19

Exact:

Moon square Uranus at 1:10 am. Moon-Uranus is volatility within a range, but the square can be bearish at times. This will play out overnight.

Moon conjunct Mercury at 12:40 pm News and announcements.

Moon sextile Neptune at 1:20 pm. Mild weakness. Minor., but triggers Mercury sextile Neptune.

Mercury sextile Neptune at 6:45 pm. Self deception.

Venus sextile Uranus at 10:30 pm. Arousal. Strange urges like buying more GOOG. can accellerate a rally or cause a minor reversal. Watch currency and metals.

In orb:

Sun conjunct Pluto.

Mars square Uranus. Reckless courage. This often manifests as "train-wreck" astro. Sometimes in the markets (techs in particular) and sometimes as literal train wrecks. At least one bout of impulse selling is due while this aspect is in orb.

Saturn trine Pluto.

Wednesday December 20

Exact:

Moon trine Saturn at 2:22 am. Minor weakness, but triggers Saturn trine Pluto.

Moon conjunct Sun at 9 am. New Moon. Often a low and often the astro around the New Moon ripples through the lunar month. Moon and Sun are at 28 Sagittarius which is close to the Galactic Center which is at 26 Sagittarius.

In orb:

Sun conjunct Pluto.

Mercury sextile Neptune.

Venus sextile Uranus.

Mars square Uranus.

Saturn trine Pluto.

In orb:

Venus sextile Uranus.

Saturn trine Pluto.

Friday December 22

In orb:

Mars square Uranus.

Saturn trine Pluto.

Saturday December 23

Exact:

Moon sextile Mars at 2:35 pm. Minor impatience. Triggers Mars square Uranus.

Moon conjunct Neptune at 11:50 pm. Weakness on confusion.

In orb:

Mercury trine Saturn. Due to Saturn's retrograde, this aspect returns. Worry. either enough to form a low or a wall of worry rally.

Tuesday December 26

Exact:

Moon square Mercury at 10:05 pm. News and announcements.

Wednesday December 27

Mercury enters Capricorn at 3:55 pm.

Exact:

Moon square Sun at 9:50 am. First Quarter Moon. Often the theme introduced at the New Moon manifests on the first Quarter Moon. Also a good place to be alert for seismic activity earth-wise or market-wise.

Thursday December 28

Exact:

Moon square Venus at 1:35 pm. Often bearish for 1/2 day, but not a particularly strong aspect.
