The wood in these homes is at least twice as strong as your new house is right now. Probably 3x's. That is why you see them being moved all the time nowdays. They are strong enough to move. I should have taken a cut out shot of the last dumper like this. It was twice as strong and had mutliple layers of plywood. Iw was unbelievable to me. Just is some the old craftsmanship vs. today.
I usually start off by burning everything. Now I am in burn everything mode to clean things out inside and out. You can make burn piles here in all the surrounding areas.
The inside of the house was so bad that I took a bunch of shots for you guys to see them later on. I put on gloves. Mostly paper trash stuff . Lots of poor man pot(schwag) roaches and stems everywhere.
I even found an old setup I think was used to grow pot in the back. I know it was as a matter of fact. Hoses and everything. Here is the funny part. They had 2 old buildings in the back. I think they caught the building on fire from their dope setup. It completely burnt down the building and this huge tree is burnt to the crisp all the way up. The fire department just let it go out and the neighbors got some beers and watched. I will snap some phots to show you. It is so funny.
There are some PVC pipes etc. that are half melted in a pile in the back. It just adds up that this is what happens. I bet it was hilarious to watch the guy freak out...
I have some hilarious shots of other stuff I will share later on. The guy I bought the house from had pamphlets for gum ball machine business and other crap. He had 4 houses and was 25. His LLC business went under obviously. The couple even left the financial paperwork, loan book, credit card and bank statements on the floor. What idiots.
I was told the church offered to buy the house but they wanted to much. Ironically, I already found out the price from the other neighbors and my price was 50k instead of the 65k he was losing his business over trying to get.
I have calculated he had "at least" 50k in the house. I got it for 33k.
Watch how I tear this thing apart step by step. Some day when prices are low in your area and the market is strong, you can think of this as a hopeful option to some degree.
The bigger the dump can sometimes mean the largest profits IF you know what to look out for etc. That is the case here.
bought wednesday at the auction. Think 3 years from now in your areas I guess. Just showing some ideas for the future. Jokes highly welcome.
I can only do this on 30k dumpers so remember that key point.
1 month and 3k and I can rent for 700 per month. 36k so far. Taxes insurance and interest will be at the end. The key here is that if I paid someone else to do the work it would cost 25k and I couldn't do this at this time with housing like it is.
Lower housing prices would help me tremendously. Not higher prices.
