Steve Elkington has no formal equipment deal. However you can see the initials of "Don White" of MacGregor on the soles of his irons. Close to the smae iron Badds uses without a lot of leading edge grinds. Looks like Steve likes a sharp edge. Suited him fine last weekend.

Last I saw he was using a Ping Rapture with Aldila VS and he alternates between a 2 iron and a Sonartec TRC 5 wood with X100. Not sure about the 3 wood though.

I didnt, sorry. I will look the next time. He is amazing isnt he? While there are so many greats that have faded away he is still showing up on the top of the leader boards like last week. Still hard to look at him without the Titleist on the hat. How many years was he a staffer? Seems like forever.
Those blades look very sharp edges, nice to look at, not so nice to mis-hit!

I was thinking the same thing while I was at Riviera (Nissan Open) this year. How does he not a deal??? Is he wanting too much money? Elk is such a cool guy and would be a great asset to any company.
Love it, no logos in sight. He obviously plays the equipment he wants to play. . . Jim Rome pegs Elk as the BEST interview in sports, he really must be a cool character.
