what happend to the callaway 9 wood that he used to play, I know he said he bent it to play different, like a 7 wood or something. he had this club in his bag for a long time, does he not use it anymore?

He still plays the 9 wood it is a 9 wood bent to a 7 wood but plays like a five wood...Not Playing Hibore any more gone back to the comp

i heard from a good source he also uses the taylormade black tp wedges.

didn't he pull the hibore out earlier this year...I know this post began in june. I think he's back to the r7

cleveland rep recently told me hes trying out the new titleist.He used to use the 460 ti instead of the hibore im sure of that.

the cleveland rep just told me that hes currently trying out ''the new titleist'' as the rep gave me a cleveland ti 460 that vijay used himself.

I dont think VJ has played the 460 ti in a few years ... so why would he use it.... I dont even think he ever used the 460 ti

does he use the whitboard in his driver and his fairways, if not what does he use in his fairways thanks

Vijay uses 900 series wedges. He has never used a taylor wedge in competition. His contract wouldn't even allow him to if he wanted to.

I have always wanted to know this. How do you bend a callaway 9-wood? there is no hosel to bend, was it drilled at a different angle? What gives

I'm not sure what everyone else was thinking, he has been using these clubs for a while now.

The bent 9-wood that Vijay used to play was a Sonartec SS-07, one of the few fairways that can be bent anymore, not a Callaway.

His old 9 wood was a Callaway Steelhead. This is from golf digest a few years back.

"My other fairway wood is a Callaway Big Bertha Steelhead 9-wood bent 7 degrees open to a 7-wood loft, but it behaves like a 5-wood. I can hit it high and about 240 yards. It's got an Apollo Tour graphite shaft".

I know he played that callaway for quite some time, and they did something to bend it open, therefor decreasing loft, but I really don't know how on a steelhead to tell the truth. I know he carried a sonartec for some time though.
