Bubba was using a Ping Rapture driver & fairway metal at the 2006 US Bank (Milwaukee) ...and Ping Tour wedges

I think it is a 7 degree Rapture......maybe less.....

and doesn´t he usually use a B60 that is all funked out.......

My first time seeing him with the Anser.....

Bubba said in an interview after his Saturday (?) round that he is using a 7.25 degree driver.

I never saw any pics, but when I was looking for info about low lofted hybrids as FW replacements I found an article about bubba busting a few 300+ yarders w/ a 14 degree nickent hybrid (thought i forget which tourney), including driving a 318 yard par 4.

It's a hybrid, as has already been discussed in this thread.

His driver is marked at 7* but from what I have heard it's digitally lofted at around 6.6*

Does anybody have an idea of what lofts bubba watson uses for his ping tour wedges? i saw him hit some good wedge shots this week at the shell and was wondering.

I think his lofts are 54,60

Bubba is now playing a 6.5 or a 7.5 Rapture with the Grafalloy shaft that has steel on the bottom 10 inches of it (forget the name). Yeah yeah it is pink.

It is actually a 1 iron...Nickent. I just played with Bubba and have the same hybrid.

If you go to pings website they have all the tour pros color code and have them on video saying what color code they are and they get to Bubba (he's the last one) and says that his color code is Pink. Bubba is by far one of my favorite Players. He won the Long drive, mid iron and almost took the Pitch shot at this years ADT skills challenge. Does Bubba flaunt the Pink for Breast Cancer or does he just like Pink?

Well I plan on getting the Pink Bi-Matrix shaft put in my G5 after I get my G10 with Graffloy Prolaunch Red shaft in it. Going to keep it right at 47"-48" and just have fun with it, kind of a fun club if you will. If I hit it well it might go back in my bag.

Grafalloy BiMatrix tipped 1" and 44.5" according to Ping.

my boss told me that one of Ping's engineers made him an oil can style Redwood Anser, haven't seen it yet though

I heard he likes to drive longer par 5's by turning around and hitting it around the world, and I heard that he gets his power by eating the souls of babies. I also heard that his driver is 358* open. . .but thats just what I've heard and I could be wrong.

Don't forget the BiMatrx shafts that are specially made by Grafalloy at nearly 60" length - so he can tip them 18"...
