Thanks Easyy, I don't mind waiting, I don't think the other wrxers are in too much of a hurry, they know the pics are coming, why rush it, and knowing you guys, they are probably top quality.
Thank you

My thoughts from the PGA Merchandise Show on Th.
Burner is ugly and cheap looking, looks kind of like the PING from address and sole looks cheap, just my .02 though. Burner crown has these lame a$$ graphics on them.....
Table Rock Golf today had an amazing booth if your a Scotty Cameron fan, they do sell HC's @ the show. They had mulitple $5k putters that you could actually putt balls with, accessories, etc. It was pure heaven for any SC fan........
Saw the new TP TM hybrid and it is better looking at address than previous models, more smooth looking than previous hybrid attempts....
Superquad looks cool in person, but the face was being nicked up pretty bad at the equipment demo area, wonder if that is a sign to come as far as the wear on the face goes?......
TM was definitely the biggest company there....
Saw the new UST Accra shaft, lower ball flight and I forgot the name....
Jim Furyk will have a V2 UST shaft in play next week...
Saw the EPIC shaft Tiger tested earlier in the week, nanomaterials its made of, no graphite and no steel. On the cover of GolfWeek this week.....
Tons of broads at this show, especially in some of the smaller booths to draw customers in. Lots of ladies, some trashy, some classy.....
I am a clothes horse so I really enjoyed the clothing section. Great stuff from Puma, JL, Dunning, Pahr 72. Most clothes shown was for the Fall line as the 2007 Spring/Summer lines were already ordered.
Talked to Cally about FT-5 and FT-i...The i model will be for the people looking for more forgiveness as you really have to hit this on the toe to hook it, not going to be easy to work.....FT-5 will sound different from the FT-3 and spin less.....Definitely looking forward to the FT-5 rather than the i model. Also saw the X-20 forged irons, very cool looking I must say, simple, you know what I mean?......
New Tour Edge Exotics FW will be shorter from toe to heel and a tad deeper in face, weight moved back in the head, basically still awesome!....
New Bridgestone wedges were nice.....
I had $1100 cash in my pocket and figured I could buy some things off these booths that I wanted. You can and you can't. Show runs through Sat., so that will be a better time to buy some stuff but alot of the items at the show were sold or spoken for. I offered the Golf Pride guys $300 cash for the Scotty Cameron new Orange studio grip and no dice, as it was the only one they had at the show. Got a Rocket Tour HC for free from the lovely ladies in Gator colors.....Also got a free Gator hat from New Era hats after sweet talking the girl.
The indoor hitting area was full of some great swings and some not so great swings. The putter demo area was an area with synthetic grass and sand, the sand was a joke, sticking to the putters....
Saw the Adams new mallet putter with training aid. Retail will be $900. Ugly as sin and the training device is BS, if you ask me. Just looks like Adams is trying to get in the putter game but they should stick to do what they do best, FW and Hybrids. They will have blade putters later at a later date.....
Lots of Asian companies with gimmicky products trying to sell....
Talked to folks about GolfWrx and other golf forums......Interesting opinions out there lol.gif
Tons more of stuff I am forgetting I know. It was a very cool experience and great people there.
I got some of those new AGSI inserts, they were handing these out at the putting booth. Same as used in the BSG putter test last week. I compared a Cameron vs. a TM putter.......

Thanks for the patience folks. It has been fun. All the Pics are up now. I just finished loading the Callaway and Taylor made Day 2 and 3. Real good stuff.
I tried to cover all of them equally as I could. Obviously Cally, TM, and MacGregor had the most coverage because they had Demo day and a huge presence w/ booths on the convention floor. Mizuno had Demo Day and private room off the floor area. All sorts of things to see and get involved in.
Highlights to me was the meeting all the people at the OEM's I have talked to so many times ont he phone and via email. Also the members I was able to meet for the first time. Not surprised that everybody was very approachable and nice.
Some wonderful equipment out there for all ages. Seems the limits the USGA has but on the driver has push some constraints into the design of clubs. It will be interesting to see the maneuvering the OEM's will have to do to make us switch in the coming years.
A trend I saw a lot of was hybrid iron sets out there in combination with super game improvement sets. A lot of thick soled hybrid style designs to help the higher handicapper get the ball up in the air.
Also the technology for dispersion reduction/distance is HUGE. MOI, inverted cone, dual polymer inserts, square, etc. Much data to digest for the average golfer.
At the end of the day we have to go out and give em a rip and personally will buy what works. Square, round, deep, shallow, black, satin, forged or cast. If I it goes long great, if it goes straight, even better.
All good and I cant wait to wake up tomorrow and do it again.
