Wasn't his set a 1 off type set that cost around $35k?

It would not surprise me that he is making a change..
i think he should skip the TPs and go straight to some oversize irons.
Either that or go straight to an all hybrid set.
Heading to the Canadian Tour to get some Top 10s under his belt would help as well.. Notice I say Top 10s and not wins...... lets not get ahead of ourselves yet !!!

I hate to follow an off topic post with another, but reading a fellow Canadian ripping Weir (even with a laughing smiley after it) bugs me.
Yes, Weir has struggled week to week on tour for a while now, but over the past 17 majors he still has managed 8 top tens (two last year), 4 top fives and a win at the Masters.
His putting performance at the 2003 Masters was one of the best in history and he is a great ambassador for Canada.
Go Mike Go!

spoken like a "typical Canadian" glencairn. sorry to keep the "off topic-ness" going.
weirs going thro a pretty major swing change, so the moment he dips off the top 30, like clockwork, some people in Canada jump all over him.
Ever think that people get sick of that attitude? didnt think so..
Ever think why most of the real talent in the country leaves for south of the border? didnt think so again.
To get back on topic, would love to see some pics if anyone has some in the near future.

if he could cut out the one round each week ( ala 74s and 75s ) then i think everyone, including Canadians like myself would be content.
He had already won a major so we are not expecting the world from him. He had given more to Canadian golfers than we would have ever expected.
Get back to the old Mike, where he was not so mechanical, get a little more fluid and the low rounds will come . i am sure then he will see that he has some 64s and 65s left him.
Better hurry though cause the Presidents Cup is getting closer and closer and he is definately on the outside looking in.

On the coverage today it looked like the Rossa was out and a Scotty was back in the bag. Looked to be an older oil can Newport.
