Chris DiMarco started his new radio show on XM radio "PGA Tour" today. He was real nice guy at the Buick. Here are some great shots of his gear and swing...

Great pics, thank you very much.

I see he's replaced those trusty old eye2 wedges with i-wedges. Didn't think i'd ever see that happen.
I heard a rumour that he'd also put S-58's in the bag as well but obviously not.

Based on watching him, is he a visibly shorter hitter than other guys on tour?
ccpgolf
Looks like he is wearing the new FJ shoes that Zach Johnson was wearing. Sweet shoes.
abewley
he has had the new wedges since they came out.
trevorcorbell
I love how the guy int the background with the striped shirt just looks like he is staring at the ball while DiMarco swings

Amazing that ping doesn't pressure him more to use newer product. They had good reason not to switch to the S59s as they were horrible irons but the S58s seem to be in quite a few bags. But they just can't get the i3+s out of his bag no matter how many custom ground irons they supply him with. Although the i3 series still remain among their best player/forgiveness iron since the eye2. My old i3 blades with a bounce grind and offset grind are still better irons than anything they have produced since.
MizunoGolf27
Great pics, I really like the paintfill on this i3+s.

That guy's setup looks a bit like Goosen.

I like that you can see the impact marks on the face of the 3 iron.

They seem to be centred just above the 4th groove from the bottom and a little more towards the hosel than the centre.

Nice pics.....makes me not want to sell my I3+ blades.....

I love the first two pictures, looks like a waste land of divots on the range. The range at these stops must be trashed when they leave!

his swing is so compact and simple,... it's pretty hard to hit a bad shot...

Placebo, I'm a Bama grad also (MBA '95) but I'm a bit miffed at this story regarding attire and behavior at Bama games:

BTW, I went to high school in Piedmont, a small town of less than 10,000.

You'd think so, but these guys are pretty respectful of the practice tee and efficient with their turf. They can stand there and hit ball after ball for 2 hours and only tear up a patch about a foot & a half square.

Dude, I hope you are saying that you are miffed about the slant of that bogus website. "Only official Nike jerseys will be allowed in the stadium"!! Come on, man, that article and everything on that site is dripping with sarcasm.

BTW, Roll Tide! Mechanical Engineering graduate (1992-1998). Did you Bama guys ever play the Harry Pritchett course? I couldn't believe they closed it.

Honestly, I don't know how to take that article, but am leaning toward B.S. When I lived in Piedmont, the paper was called The Piedmont Times, not the Gazette. That's my first hint.

The Harry Pritchett course was the University course, correct? (I forget the name) Yes, we used to play there quite a bit because we didn't have classes on Friday during 3 of our 4 semesters of the MBA program. We also used to play North River Yacht Club, and we'd often drive to B'ham and play Bent Brooke or the RTJ courses.

Damn what I wouldn't do for a Harry's Krazy Bucket right about now. Mmmmmm, Good! Harry's was right down the street from my apartment.

Hmmmm that article definitely sounds like BS to me. Even if it is legit do they really think they are going to be able to pull that off? Nope, not gonna happen. College kids will get their drunk on if they want to period.

Hehe Piedmont eh? Yep I know exactly where thats at. My ex's sister still lives there I think. I lived a bit north in Guntersville for about four years after I got out of the Army. Now I'm back in California where I grew up. I do miss Alabama though, especially the bass fishing!
"

Edit: I just looked at the front page of that site LMAO here is a snippet from the first article: "Rabid Auburn fan and Piedmont resident, Willie Cartwright was electrocuted when lightning hit one of the oak trees that stand on Toomer's Corner. Family members of Mr. Cartwright claim he was convinced he could rid the tree of the disease which is slowly killing it with his "magical s*****.""

Safe to say there will still be drunk peeps at Bama games wearing what they want.

I think he's gone to the I10's that he and Mark Calc helped design.
